The Folds of Honor Annual Gala 2026, held November 7 at the American Airlines Center in Dallas, Texas, is the premier fundraising and celebration event for one of America's most beloved and impactful veteran and military family organizations — a spectacular evening that raises millions of dollars in scholarship funding for the spouses and children of fallen and disabled American service members. Founded by Lt. Col. Dan Rooney, a PGA Tour golfer and F-16 pilot who was moved to action by witnessing the flag-draped casket of a fallen soldier on a flight home from Iraq, Folds of Honor has provided over 45,000 scholarships since 2007, changing the educational trajectory of military families whose greatest sacrifice — the loss or disability of a parent, spouse, and provider — should never also cost them their educational future. The 2026 Gala features an elegant evening reception, gourmet dinner, a powerful program including remarks by Folds of Honor scholarship recipients who have gone on to extraordinary careers, performances by nationally recognized musical artists, a world-class live and silent auction, and the signature Folds of Honor presentation of scholarships to military families in attendance. Dallas's iconic American Airlines Center provides a venue of appropriate scale and grandeur for an organization that has grown from a single act of inspiration to a national movement. Corporate tables and individual tickets are available for purchase. Military families attend as honored guests. This is the night when Dallas — and through the broadcast and coverage it generates, all of America — invests in the children of our heroes. Because those children deserve every opportunity that their parent's sacrifice should never have taken from them.
