The Back The Blue Golf Tournament is the 27th annual golf fundraiser from the Assist the Officer Foundation, a Dallas group that helps police officers and their families when hardship hits.
The day starts at Buffalo Creek Golf Course in Rockwall with registration at 8:00 AM, a free putting contest, and opening ceremonies, followed by a 10:00 AM shotgun start. Golfers get cart and green fees, a tournament hat, a swag bag, and meals from breakfast through dinner. Long drive and closest to the pin contests, raffle prizes, and awards wrap up the day.
Sponsorships come in a wide range of levels, so local businesses of any size can get involved.
The money raised goes straight back to officers facing injury, illness, or loss. If you want to support the people who protect North Texas neighborhoods, this is a fun and practical way to do it.
