Guardian Revival's First Line Peer Gatherings are grassroots, community-driven events designed to bring first responders together in a relaxed, judgment-free environment for genuine connection, peer support, and mental wellness conversations. The April 2026 series of gatherings kicks off on April 13, 2026 with events taking place at multiple locations nationwide.
First Line is Guardian Revival's flagship peer support initiative, built on the foundational belief that the most effective support for first responders comes from other first responders. These gatherings are intentionally informal — no lecturers, no clinical sessions, no pressure. Just peers sharing meals, stories, and honest conversations about the realities of life in emergency services.
Topics naturally emerging at First Line gatherings include occupational stress management, navigating life transitions out of service, family and relationship challenges specific to first responder culture, the stigma of mental health treatment, and practical wellness strategies that fit the unique lifestyle of those who serve. Facilitators are trained peer supporters and fellow first responders, not outside clinicians.
Guardian Revival's mission is to close the gap between first responders and the mental health resources available to them by creating culturally competent, trust-based environments where asking for help is normalized and celebrated. The results speak for themselves: communities that hold regular peer gatherings consistently report better morale, lower rates of crisis intervention, and stronger internal support networks.
First Line gatherings are open to all active and retired first responders regardless of department, agency, or discipline. Family members of first responders are welcome at select events. Attendance is free. Check the Guardian Revival website for specific April 2026 locations near you and come connect with your people.
