Hero Fest is a FREE community celebration hosted by Back Brevard Heroes to honor and appreciate every first responder who serves the Brevard County community. Taking place on Sunday, May 3, 2026 from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM at BVMC Plaza in Brevard County, Florida, Hero Fest is the perfect family event to come out, show your appreciation, and celebrate the heroes in your backyard.
This free, all-ages event is packed with activities for the whole family. Enjoy a community BBQ, live music performances, static displays of fire trucks, police vehicles, and emergency equipment that kids and adults alike will love. Games, giveaways, and interactive demonstrations from area first responder agencies make for a fun and educational afternoon.
Hero Fest is organized by Back Brevard Heroes, a nonprofit dedicated to supporting active first responders and their families through wellness resources, financial assistance, and community recognition programs. The organization believes that honoring first responders publicly and consistently is essential to building a culture of care and appreciation that sustains the brave men and women who serve.
Brevard County is home to thousands of law enforcement officers, firefighters, paramedics, nurses, and military veterans who go to work every day not knowing what they will face. Hero Fest is the community's way of saying: we see you, we value you, and we are grateful.
Admission is completely free for all attendees. Parking is available on site. This is a rain-or-shine event with tented areas for comfort. Bring the whole family, invite your neighbors, and come ready to celebrate the real heroes of Brevard County. For more information, follow Back Brevard Heroes on social media.
