The Student Veterans of America National Summit 2026 gathers over 2,000 student veterans, SVA chapter leaders, higher education professionals, employer partners, and veteran advocates in Washington, D.C. from December 10–12, 2026 at the Marriott Marquis for the most dynamic and transformative event in the student veteran calendar year. Student Veterans of America is the largest and most influential organization serving veteran students at colleges and universities across the country, with over 1,500 chapters representing more than 750,000 student veterans pursuing higher education. The National Summit is where this community comes together to learn, lead, connect, and advocate. The three-day program features inspiring keynote addresses from veteran leaders who have successfully leveraged their education into extraordinary careers, breakout sessions on academic success, mental wellness, career development, entrepreneurship, and campus advocacy, chapter leadership training, employer networking events, a career fair specifically targeted at veteran students, and legislative advocacy days on Capitol Hill where student veterans meet directly with their members of Congress. The Summit also serves as the primary platform for SVA to present its annual research on student veteran success outcomes, graduation rates, and the ongoing challenges facing the nearly one million veterans and service members enrolled in American colleges and universities.
