Texas Women Veterans Day 2026 is a heartfelt community celebration and recognition event held June 6, 2026, at Veterans Memorial Park in Live Oak, Texas, honoring the extraordinary women from Texas who have served in the United States Armed Forces throughout history and today. Texas has a proud and deep tradition of military service, and its women veterans represent some of the most courageous, capable, and dedicated service members in American history — from nurses in World War II to combat pilots and cyber warriors of today. This annual celebration brings the Live Oak community together for a formal recognition ceremony, keynote addresses by distinguished women veterans, musical tributes, award presentations, and family-friendly activities that remind every Texan how much they owe to the women who chose to serve. Local women veterans will be personally honored and recognized on stage, and the event provides an opportunity for veterans to connect with VA resources, benefits counselors, and peer support networks available specifically for women veterans in Texas. The park setting, with its flags, memorials, and open Texas sky, provides a backdrop worthy of the women being honored. Local businesses, nonprofits, and schools are encouraged to attend and show their appreciation. Admission is free and open to all community members. Bring your families, bring your flags, and come stand alongside the women warriors who have made Texas and America proud. Their service is our strength.
