The Veterans Cup is a Veterans Day golf tournament in San Jose that brings golfers together to honor those who served and to raise money for local veteran programs.
After a strong first year, the tournament returns to The Villages Golf and Country Club. Every dollar raised goes to three groups: Operation Freedom Paws, which pairs veterans and others with service dogs they help train; PGA HOPE Northern California, which uses golf to support veterans' mental and physical health; and the Silicon Valley Chapter of the Military Officers Association of America.
Individual golfers and foursomes are welcome, and there are sponsorship, donation, and volunteer options for people who would rather help off the course.
Spending Veterans Day on the fairway with fellow veterans and supporters is a relaxed, friendly way to mark the holiday while putting real money into programs that make a difference for veterans in the South Bay.
