The WEMSA Conference and Expo is Wisconsin's big annual get together for EMS. More than a thousand EMTs, paramedics, instructors, service directors and volunteers head to the Resch Expo near Green Bay in early February 2027.
The schedule offers more than 80 classes across five educational tracks, and the courses are CAPCE accredited, so attendees can knock out continuing education hours while they are there. Topics range from clinical skills to leadership and running a service.
The expo hall brings together more than 90 exhibitors with ambulances, equipment and technology, and over 150 agencies are typically represented. That makes it an easy place to compare notes with crews from rural volunteer squads and busy city systems alike.
EMS providers in Wisconsin cover a lot of ground, often with thin staffing. A few days of shared learning and support helps them keep their skills sharp and remember they are part of a bigger team.
