First Responder Mental Health & Wellness Conference – Wilmington 2026

  • Monday, September 14, 2026
  • 8:00 AM
  • Chase Center on the Riverfront, Wilmington, DE

The First Responder Mental Health & Wellness Conference – Wilmington 2026 is a dedicated one-day professional development and wellness event hosted at the prestigious Chase Center on the Riverfront in Wilmington, Delaware on September 14, 2026. Produced by 1st Responder Conferences (1RC), this event brings together law enforcement officers, firefighters, paramedics, EMTs, dispatchers, and corrections personnel for a focused day of mental health education, resilience-building tools, and peer support strategies. The men and women who serve as first responders carry an immense psychological burden — witnessing trauma, making life-or-death decisions, and carrying the weight of their communities day after day. Yet the culture of strength that draws so many to this profession can also become a barrier to seeking help. This conference shatters that barrier by creating a brave space for open conversation, professional education, and community healing. Expert speakers with lived first responder experience will deliver sessions on PTSD recognition and treatment, suicide prevention, peer support program development, healthy coping mechanisms, stress inoculation, and tools for department leadership to build psychologically safe workplaces. First responder spouses and family members are also welcome, as the mental health of our heroes directly impacts every person they love. CEUs and continuing education credits may be available. Departments are encouraged to send teams. The riverfront venue provides a calm and scenic environment, reinforcing the message that wellness is not weakness — it is the foundation of every effective first responder. Register your team today and invest in the most important asset your department has: the people who show up every single day.
