Catholic Charities of Shiawassee & Genesee Counties is marking America’s 250th with a night that honors the people who defended it. The America 250: Veterans Legacy Gala takes over St. Michael’s Conference Center in Flint on Saturday, November 7.
Every dollar raised goes to Sacred Heart Veteran Village, which gives unhoused veterans transitional housing and a real path to stable, independent living. It is local, it is hands-on, and it changes lives in Genesee County.
Veterans and civilians are both welcome. Veteran tickets are $50 with proof of service at the door, and non-veteran tickets are $75. Groups can reserve a table of 8 for $500 or a table of 10 for $600. Doors open at 5:00 PM and the evening wraps at 9:00 PM.
Bring your unit, bring your family, and help a fellow veteran find his or her way home.
