Alaska’s largest EMS training conference runs November 3 through 7, 2026 at the Alyeska Hotel and Resort in Girdwood. The Alaska EMS Symposium is built for ETTs, EMTs, paramedics and emergency clinicians who work some of the toughest territory in the country.
November 3 and 4 are pre-conference days with certification classes and half- and full-day workshops. November 5 through 7 are packed with 60-minute breakout sessions.
The host, the Southern Region EMS Council, is a nonprofit founded in 1975. It covers about 192,000 square miles and 100 ambulance and first responder services, and two-thirds of the communities it serves have no road access to the rest of the state.
